Andrew, a dual MD-MPH student, is deeply interested in evolving healthcare systems and payer models. During his time at Penn, he has become a champion of effiency and innovation in value-driven care in the hospital. Andrew has a strong background in Quality Improvement methodology and continues to engage in value-driven projects in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at both the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. For HealthX, Andrew envisions the group leveraging and increasing their relationship with the wealth of multidisciplinary graduate students at The University.
After medical school, Andrew wants to become a leader in health system organization and an expert in how hospitals efficiently and financially care for populations of patients. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry with minors in Neuroscience and Sociology from Ithaca College, graduating in 2014, summa cum laude.
