Casey, a first-year medical student at the University of Pennsylvania, is most passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship within healthcare systems. He graduated from Temple University in 2018 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. During college, he cultivated a diverse array of interests which ranged from managing a microfinancing project based in Ghana to conducting research surrounding the application of the CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing system. Prior to college, Casey lived in the countries of Ghana and Togo. He attributes his four years in West Africa as the spark of his particular interests within healthcare. Before West Africa, Casey lived in South Florida.
