Jacob is intrigued by innovations in medicine and how they can be used to improve patient care and the overall healthcare system. Originally from South Florida, Jacob attended college at the University of Pennsylvania where he received a B.A. in the Biological Basis of Behavior with a minor from Wharton in Health Services Management. Courses and opportunities in college allowed him to explore the business and policy aspects of medicine. These fostered a desire to improve patient care. Throughout college and medical school, Jacob has been involved in different health care initiatives, ranging from helping to enact skincare legislation in Florida to implementing visual acuity screenings in West Philadelphia schools. Jacob is eager to see how the future of medicine will be shaped by medical innovations.
