Are you a startup working to improve social determinants of health (SDOH)? Apply to the PennHealthX SDoH Accelerator program to receive pro-bono project support from a Perelman School of Medicine student

Goal

To provide early-stage for-profit or not-for-profit startups and organizations working to improve social determinants of health (SDoHs) with pro-bono support from Perelman School of Medicine Students. PSOM consultants will be paid fully by PennHealthX at no cost to startups.

For Interested Startups

  • Email the PennHealthX VPs of SDOH (korlekuor.akiti@pennmedicine.upenn.edu + alan.huang@pennmedicine.upenn.edu) to express interest and provide an overview of your organization

  • Prepare a high-level work plan outlining key areas where a PSOM student-consultant can provide assistance

  • Meet with VPs of Strategy to discuss possible participation and the high-level workplan

Note: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis

  • Sign up for the PennHealthX listserv to stay up-to-date on new SDoH Accelerator opportunities

  • Fill applications for any organizations you are interested in working with
