  • Angela Malinovitch

    CO-PRESIDENT

    Angela is an MD/MBA student currently in her first year of MBA studies at Wharton. She holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Neuroscience, with minors in French, Healthcare Management, and Chemistry. Prior to medical school, Angela worked as an Associate at the Boston Consulting Group. In medical school, she has contributed as an Accelerator Project Intern at Penn CHTI and a Medical Student Business Fellow at Geisinger Health System. During her MBA, Angela has taken on various leadership roles including Seae Ventures Venture Fellow, Wharton Venture Partner, Health Care Club Co-President, and Wharton Global Health Volunteer. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, reading fiction, running half marathons, and traveling. 

  • Shreya Parchure

    CO-PRESIDENT

    Shreya Parchure is an MD-PhD Candidate in the Perelman School of Medicine and Dept. of Bioengineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), through the NIH T32 program in Neuroengineering and Medicine.

    She previously completed MSE and BSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and received the Goldwater Scholarship.

    Shreya is passionate about connecting digital innovations to advance healthcare, and has consulted for startups in the med-tech and AI fields globally.

  • Keshav Goel

    CO-PRESIDENT

    Keshav is an MD/MBA candidate at the Perelman School of Medicine and Wharton School (majoring in Healthcare Management), with the goal of becoming an oncologist who leads innovative collaborations between medicine, business, and technology to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment. As an Innovation Fellow at the Penn Center for Cancer Care Innovation, his research focuses on using AI/ML algorithms to predict cancer occurrence and employing economic tools to enhance screening rates and improve care delivery. He has also interned at the digital health start-up, Savor Health, which leverages AI/ML for personalized cancer care. After completing his MD/MBA, Keshav plans to train to become an oncologist and ultimately bring cancer care innovation from theory to his patients’ bedsides.

  • Amy Wu

    Amy Wu graduated from the Roy and Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences and Management in 2024 with a BA in Neuroscience with a Chemistry Minor and BS in Economics with a concentration in Healthcare Management and Policy. Amy is passionate about healthcare innovation, access, and raising awareness about the intersections of business and healthcare; to that end, Amy is excited to serve as one of the VPs of Conference!

  • Ryan Turlip

    Bio: MS1 interested in studying the interface of big data, AI, and patient outcomes in surgery.

  • Morgan Purcell

    I grew up in Montgomery County, PA and am currently an MS1 at the Perelman School of Medicine. I completed my undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College and earned a Master’s in Data Science from Drexel University. With professional experience in data engineering at NeuroFlow, electronic medical records system management at Prevention Point Philadelphia, and technical consulting at Veeva Systems, I am passionate about combining data science and healthcare innovation to advance patient-centered care.

  • Sabrina Meng

    Sabrina is a first-year medical student at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to medical school, she studied Biological Engineering and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at MIT and interned at several companies within these industries. She is passionate about the intersection of technology and healthcare and is excited to further grow this interest as part of HealthX.

    Hi everyone! I studied Neuroscience and global public health at The Ohio State University. As a part of PennHealthX, I’m excited to explore how innovative ideas and technology can improve care for vulnerable populations. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer (go Liverpool!) and reading a good book.

    Ziad Hassan is a current MS1 at the Perelman School of Medicine and a previous graduate of Yale University with a degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He is currently involved with both medical education and healthcare entrepreneurship on campus. He looks forward to bridging these interests by putting together insightful podcasts for PennHealthX!

    Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, I studied Economics and worked in management consulting before starting medical school at Penn. I'm passionate about bio innovation and its potential future impacts on society. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, swimming, reading, and adventuring into nature.

    I graduated from Harvard in 2023 where I earned a joint degree in Computer Science and Philosophy. I am really excited about the application of new technologies like artificial intelligence and deep learning in the medical field and how they can be leveraged to improve health outcomes. And fun fact, I spent a year in Amman, Jordan studying classical Arabic before starting medical school.

    Originally from Houston, Texas, Zoe is a first-year MD student at PSOM. Prior to coming to Philly, she pursued a BS in biomedical engineering from the University of Florida and an MSc in artificial intelligence from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. She hopes to leverage her technical background to effectively and ethically integrate AI into medical care, and in her free time she enjoys learning languages, exploring Philly, and ice skating.

    Originally from San Diego, California, Randy is a first-year MD candidate at the Perelman School of Medicine. He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Neuroscience and minors in Chemistry and Consumer Psychology. He plans to utilize his prior experiences in the restaurant industry and research in food behavior to address health inequities prominent in local communities. In his free time, he enjoys making caffeinated beverages, urban hiking, and listening to new music.

    Victoria is a first-year medical student at PSOM with an interest in healthcare innovation and cardiothoracic surgery. She graduated from Vanderbilt University, double majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Medicine, Health, and Society while double minoring in Japanese and Chemistry. She is especially interested in the potential application of AI in minimally invasive surgery, robotics surgery, and surgical outcome improvement. Outside schoolwork, she enjoys cooking and K-Pop dancing.
